Is coaching right for me?

Great question! Of course, as a coach, I think coaching is for everyone! 😉 Seriously, though, I do believe coaching is for everyone, but are you ready for coaching? That’s really the question. You will know you are ready for coaching when you’ve got something that really bugs you and you can’t figure out how to “fix” it. Maybe it’s the way you always get angry or maybe it’s that you never say what you really mean when you need to or…. You fill in the blank. If you’ve tried lots of ways to make it better, be different, change, fix it and it still isn’t, we should talk.

How does coaching work?

As a coach, my skill lies in being able to see how you see your world and find ways to open that up for you. Sound too “coach-ese?” How about this? You see the world, your world, the way you see it. We all do. I can see it the way you see it AND see the way forward that will make things shift and change for you. Is that better? I see it; You see it; We grow new skills and insights and then you see even more. Seeing it allows you to do, say and think differently. And that is the way forward.

So, coaching might be for me. Why should I pick you?"

Another great question. I believe there are a couple of reasons:
I am passionate, I  mean really passionate, about helping you grow and make progress towards living the way you want to. That’s what living is all about, right?
The method of coaching I am trained in helps you to actually develop new “muscles” and capabilities so that the change you get, sticks. It’s sustainable over time. We’ve all set goals right? Lose weight. Be nicer. Work harder. Exercise more. How did that go for you? For me, it hasn’t really worked. Coaching is not about setting goals- it’s about change that sticks.
This work is all about you and what you are looking for- it’s individualized just for you. No cookie cutter- no set plans. It’s all you.

Sounds expensive- how much does it cost?

Again, that depends on you and what you are looking for. This is about an investment, about getting the value and direction you need to make a change in your life.
When we meet and talk to see if this is a good fit for you and a good fit for me- we’ll talk about what it costs. It varies depending on what you need and how long it will take. Let’s just talk for 30 or 40 minutes and see what coaching would look like and what it could do for you- it’s free- just your time.
